Who Is She?

Hi, my name is Lindsey and I’m a weight room addict.

The truth? It wasn’t always like this though. Nope, I grew up with a quite opposite lifestyle. Sure, I played a few sports here and there (primarily basketball…White girl can jump!), but I loved food too much. There were many afternoons when I’d come home from ninth grade and down a couple of soft drinks and a bag of chips and not think twice about it.

It wasn’t until my senior year in highschool that I started making some changes. January of 2008 (ah, how cliche), I joined a gym with a friend of mine and the rest is history. My routines these days are primarily weight lifting, but I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and I’m learning to have an intense love/hate relationship with running.

Baby got back?

In February of 2010, I started pursuing my passion- and began the process of becoming a certified personal trainer. I completed all necessary testing in August of 2010, and two days later, I was hired by a local gym in town.

I’m ready to break down barriers and defy the odds.

Amazing what a little sweat can do. :)

  4. Hi Lindsay… believe it or not, I came across this site looking for a new tattoo idea… when I did a search, the site came up with some posts.. then you looked like a friend of mine so i clicked to check it out… I know, weird…

    Anyways… I was reading your blogs and they are inspiring… I am currently doing the P90X workouts (not sure if you have heard of them) and LOVE them! I am now ending my 2nd month out of 3 months… My life has changed as well and I’m loving the new body I have created and the awesome energy I have 🙂 I was never really overweight, but I was never fit either.. I was the average joe. But I wanted to look my best… So, here I am pushing along and striving to look the best I can… Still have another round of P90X to get to my goal, then just a life full of maintaining…

    So after all the tatoo searching, clicking on the site and reading your blogs and finding out that you are striving to be the best “YOU” by staying in shape, I had to post a comment !!!

    Keep it up and I wish you the best…
